Sooo it has been a while - Hello again

Sooooo,

I have not written on my blog for a very long time and a lot has happened.

I had promised my self that this time I would keep my blog up but life got in the way and I have not been organised enough to keep up this blog. BUT  as it has calmed down I shall get into a routine and keep this up. Starting from today,

Since my last post as you can imagine a lot has happened nothing major like marriage or children more a lot of travelling for work and for pleasure. Apart from that the usual things that come with getting older. There has been a lot less raving for 3 days and a lot more jet lagged for 3 days but still needing to function as I have a wedding, engagement party and a baby shower to get to. Less glitz, glam and hangovers more I need my bed but I still have grown up things to do.

I find myself weighing up whether to drink or not as I am not sure what the effect of the alcohol will be the options are
A. Fall asleep on the spot
B. Dance like I am part of the slut drop championship team
C. Decide that now is the best time to put the world to right
D. All of the above in 5 minute intervals.

So the next few posts will be a brief life recap. There has also been lots of travel, love laughter and heartache so the usual for anyone who lives in this great city called London.

So here it goes a quick recap of what has been going on.

Red - dance red saves lives

I was lucky enough to be involved with the Red charities dance red event part of world aids day.

Please check the site and show your support.

The London event which I organised was at the Freeze festival in Clapham.

Here are a few pics from the event. (sorry my pics are not that great)

Barbie time

Me and my favourite trouble maker went out for drinks at the book club in Shoreditch.

It was a night filled with wine which means unfortunately there are only pictures of us and nothing else.
That's not a comfortable face!

Always looking beautiful.

I'm getting better!

Barcelona

It has been a while since my last post and for that I am very sorry. But work has been crazy busy especially as I have been organising events for new clients and so have been getting my head around that.

Well enough  with the excuses here are a few pics from my visit to Barcelona my new favourite European city.

Venice fun

With everyone posting pictures of their holidays I was reminded about a trip to Venice I went on with work that I did not blog about (bad me)

Below is a visual diary of our adventure staring Sorrel the squirrel (The work mascot who comes abroad with us)

In this picture heavy blog post you will see what working in events does to your sanity.

Excited for our first trip to Italy

Sorrel preparing for the journey

This is the view from our hotel suite  Simply amazing

Sorrel gazing into the city

The venue that we had our event in was beautiful

The evolution of the mobile phone

Just look at that ceiling of the main room

Sorrel and I deep in discussion

Sorrel working hard filming the event

We went just before Easter and these were there delights that filled the shop windows.

Once our event was finished we had a few days to ourselves to be true tourists and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Of course Sorrel came along and was with us during our dinners ( i did warn you about going crazy whilst working at an event)

Sorrel on the gondola

We got lost about 10000 times

Delirious laughter due to lack of sleep

The main man
Most of our time there we wondered around lost trying not to wonder into the water.  We tried to trace our steps by using the designer shops that lined the pebble streets as our breadcrumbs but as soon as the shops shut we were lost again.

Our navigational skills were probably not helped by our intoxication.

Sorell went a little wild

Unfortunately I did not manage to take pictures of the delicious food that we ate.  But I can only recommend any fish dish as I ate a lot when i was there and everything was perfectly cooked.

Even sorrel agreed.
